Does a Co-host with calendar and message access see pricing information for your listing? 

I was used to using a three way text for guests to reach me and the personal greeter I have meet them with keys, and help with anything urgent during their stay. I'd love to give this person calendar and message access as with the new AirBNB focus on "all messages through the service" I got pushback from two guests recently when I wanted to set up a three way text. 

Second question:

I'm assuming if I wanted to pay this person through AirBNB offically, they'd have to be registered co-host?

Will this be your first time working with a co-host?

@Emilie I found those resources. My question was specific and has to do with a person I already work with. He is a family friend. I need to know if I give him access to the calendar and messaging if he will see details about our booking prices. 

And, do I need to have him registered in some way as a co-host to use AirBNB features?

Great questions — I’m a co-host with “calendar and message access only” for a few listings I help manage, mainly handling 24/7 guest communication. I can confirm that with this level of access, I’m not able to see what guests pay the main host or the nightly rate.

Here’s how it works: a co-host with calendar and message access only won’t see your pricing or payout details. They can view and manage reservations, message guests, and handle the calendar, but financial information remains private unless full access is granted.

And yes, if you’d like to pay someone officially through Airbnb, you will need to invite them to co-host on your listing. That way, Airbnb can process payments directly.
