@Belinda319 There's no fixed definition of what constitutes "extra" cleaning as opposed to routine cleaning, so trying to get money for it is usually a lost cause.
You can specify in your listing and checkout instructions which cleaning tasks guests are expected to do before they depart. For best results, send the checklist as a reminder the day before they leave. As long as the instructions are simple and don't ask too much of people who just want to get out the door, most guests will do as you ask. But your base rates and turnover time should account for the inevitability that some bad messes will happen. And if you allow one-night stays, the odds are pretty high that you'll have a lot of those.
