Hi everyone,

​In nearly 14 years of hosting on Airbnb across my 3 properties (which sleep 2 to 4 guests), I never installed a dishwasher.

Now, with an increasing number of American tourists, I'm thinking about replacing the oven with a dishwasher...

Will this be a welcome decision?

Hi @Alessandro392 

I would check your past guest reviews and messages first. If nobody has ever complained about the lack of a dishwasher, that doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t want one but it tells you the oven may currently be more useful than you think.

@Alessandro392 . Personally, I would never swap out a dishwasher for an oven thats already there. I only add dishwashers where there are larger groups- 6 or more or there is plenty of space and spare $ (considering you'll need to pay for plumbing as well). I dont get many American tourists but surely most of your guest would prefer the authentic look?.

By the way I absolutely love your villa and would be happy to wash up everyday there if I could relax on the terrace afterwards with a glass of vino 🍷.
