Currency Exchange changed

I booked 2 reservations and did notice that it was in euros but assumed it was an error on Airbnb website.. just got my credit card statement and I am charged exchange fees.. I have not used my travel account since 2018 when it was hacked..  I have not changed my exchange to euros.. have never used Euros.. I am in US, rentals are in US. I seem to not be the only one this has happened to.. short of cancelling my reservations so the next payout to them won’t be in euros, no one will help and they won’t credit me back the exchange charges… I didn’t change the exchange… @@Airbnb  @airbnbcommunity @airbncurrency

It's unfortunate that you've been charged exchange fees without making changes to the settings yourself! 

Were you able to get in touch with Airbnb Customer Support to know more about these charges? Did they provide you with more information on this?

They were no help.. my account was hacked back in 2018.  I think it was reset and defaulted to original settings, Euros are first choice… I haven’t used it since.. they won’t change.. or credit and no one will respond now.. I am a Superhost.. I just won’t book again through them..
