Sorry @Jason114 @you are not correct on this. It's never in the owners interests for the cohost to set the owners listing up under their name.

as you know if this happens and the owner wants to take over managing the property they will need to set up a new listing from scratch and will lose all their reviews and ratings

As a cohost I have always help the owner set their listings up and have them add me as a cohost .

why do you say it's in the cohosts best interest to set the  owners listing up under their profile?

what the cohost should be doing is helping set the listing up in their clients best interests .

Helen you are thinking this correct but in our situation the owner wants to do this only because was his father's holiday house and doesn't feel right to him to stay close. he doesn't really care for the incomes, if they are enough he will only take a small percentage for the electricity etc. in the other, me i am staying close to the house so i can take care the décor the cleaning the welcoming (everything) and i know how in my country works the taxes for airbnb but to be honest i prefer if he lists the house and just send me the agreed money so it will not be risky for me to receive extra taxes etc from the government. i am waiting his accountant to look on this and update us.
