Getting Payment before check in

I was wondering if there is a way to set up payment day before check-in?

@Corinne840  I don’t think hosts are involved in determining how and when payments are made. All we see from our end is that we get a payout of the full amount on the day after check-in, but the payout comes via Airbnb, not directly from the guest.  

I recommend you call Airbnb Customer Service and ask them if there is any flexibility in the payment options from the guest.

Certain hosts used to get paid well before the guest actually arrived; i.e. with Super Strict 60 it was 60 days before arrival since guest couldn't cancel and get any money back. They dropped that during Covid (April 2020) and never brought it back.

The timing now of one-day payment after a booking has begun is based on the fact the booking is indeed a reality .
