Hamburg Tax Payment

Hello,

I am renting my room from airbnb and I do this only and maximum 56 days. I have received also tax papers from Hamburg finanzamt. Expiry date was 23.08.2023 but I can see this document only now. Am I responsible to fill it even though I am renting till 56 days? If I am can you please help me with your experiences? Thank you!

Was there a questionnaire included with this document? That should be filled out and actually until August 23rd. must be sent back so that it can be checked whether the rental needs to be recorded for tax purposes. There is usually a processor at the top of the letter. I would contact him and ask for a postponement for sending in the questionnaire.
