Airbnb filled my 2021 taxes incorrectly with the IRS. We have multiple different payout accounts to keep properties separate from each other. In 2021 Airbnb lumped all income on "1"1099 instead of 2 separate 1099. I have had a case open with them for 27 days. Every time I call they state there is a special tax group that will be calling me back and they have escalated my issue. I have not relieved any help and my time is up with the IRS. I called the IRS to explain that all income was accounted for on 2 different filing, but they want a corrected 1099 and a letter on airbnb letter head stating why they made the error. I can not get a supervisor on the phone or one to call or email me back. I spent 45 min on the phone with a airbnb rep who stated she can not get me a supervisor and they only communicate via email, but she will ask one to email me. Has this been your experience? We have 11 properties on airbnb and have been with them for 5 years and I have never had any issues with airbnb support until now. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I need help with my 1099's as well. My Son and I have somehow three accounts. I'm getting the money for my house and his taking the income hit on his 1099. He should only get management fees. No response from Airbnb to help correct.
Hope everything is going well. As you have commented on an old thread, can you please help elaborate on your concern by starting a new conversation with our members?
