Hosting an outdoor event space

We have an outdoor entertainment space we would like to rent out for private events and meetings. Has anyone ever listed such a place or thought of listing such a space. This is not the same as hosting an experience!

@Tendai1  you are right-- its not the same as hosting on ABB. And as ABB does not allow parties you could get in really hot water advertising your listing here.

We used to do weddings (micro weddings with 20 guests or less) at our cottage. We never advertised through ABB but did locally with photographers, dress shops, bartenders, florists  and caterers. Post your space on social media. Don't do it here. Or try Thumbtack.

ABB is more focused on accommodations and connected tourist products (so called experiences), rather then "events". The platform is build around different conception.

@Tendai1 Airbnb is not the right platform for this kind of rental. Try Peerspace instead.

Yes, Peerspace was built to allow for hosting of meetings, events, and productions. Rates are listed hourly and no overnight accommodation is permitted.

Like Airbnb, hosts must be in compliance with local laws which may have regulations depending on the activity (i.e. film permits required within TMZ of Los Angeles). Check it out.

Hi Tendai,

I recently helped a friend host a birthday party in an outdoor space, and we decided to rent some inflatable games from Outdoor Celebrations. It was such a hit! The kids had a blast, and it really added a fun element to the event. They have a great variety of options, from bounce houses to obstacle courses, which kept everyone entertained throughout the day.

If you're considering renting out your space for events, I think adding some of these inflatable games could really enhance the experience for your guests. Plus, they handle everything so smoothly, which makes it easy on the host! *

Best of luck with your outdoor space!
