Hosting limits in London - exemption

Hi there

I refer to the following text on this page: https://www.airbnb.co.uk/city-registration/48004192/london_city?c=.pi80.pkY2l0aWVzL25pZ2h0c19jb3VudG...

"If you rent out your entire home in London, you must have planning permission from your local borough in order to host beyond the 90 night limit. If you already have planning permission, you can claim an exemption."

Would a landlord licence from my local council mean that I am able to avail of an exemption and host more than 90 nights a year in London?

Many thanks

Susie

No, a landlord licence isn't what you need, @Susie252.

To exceed the 90 day limit (for temporary sleeping accommodation like Airbnb) Planning Permission is needed as it's treated as material change of use. I hear that the process is much like wading through treacle.

Hi Gordon do you know how to get a planning permission for renting out beyond 90 days in London?

You apply to your local council @Huda0  but as Gordon mentions your chances of getting planning permission are not at all likely.
