Housekeeping Liability

HI! 

Question on personal housekeepers and liability insurance. Is this something the cleaning service provides? Does Airbnb cover? Or are hosts providing extra coverage somehow?

@Phyllis146   Professional cleaning services will be self-insured and bonded.  They should provide you with a copy of their coverage certificate.  If you have hired a "self-employed" person to do the housekeeping, you need to have your own coverage.  AirBnB does not offer any insurance that would compensate for issues with cleaners or other persons being injured while on your property.

Worried about being liable should my self-employed cleaner hurt herself while at our property. Maybe something like tripping on a rug and injuring her back. Besides just having insurance, do you think there's a form we could have her sign like a liability waiver or something?
