How To Notify Host Who Are Listing Short Term Rentals (Airbnb's) Illegally in The Village of Dolton?

According to Ordinance #20-014 of the Village of Dolton Code Airbnb's are illegal to operate.  There are several properties listed on this website that should immediately be removed from listing for short term rentals in the Village of Dolton. There are no addresses listed but does indicate that the offer this service. PLEASE NOTIFY them to cease this service before further action is taken. Contact the Village of Dolton Housing Director for more information.

@William2159 You'll have no success here I am afraid as this is a community centre for hosts and guests. You really need to contact the people listing the properties which should be easy enough as they must pay taxes to the locality.

@William2159 this community is a world wide community of individual owners and hosts . Most of us including me have never heard of Dolton or know where it is.Airbnb proper have an easily accessible phone number but telling us here is a waste of time. Its like asking the sand to take care of the beach... H

@William2159 All you have to do is to print the listing and take it to the building/zoning department of your municipal government and they will send  a cease and desist order. Not sure how a community board could notify them.

@William2159 I see you changed the original link you posted. So this is another listing in Dolton you are targeting? 

I'm confused, which one is it? Also, I live in a bigger town than Dolton, and when I look at a listing I recognize the area etc. If you actually work for the township it should not be hard to find the owner of record. 

William, Also, I just checked the Village of Dolton government page, as I suspected, there is no such thing as Director of Housing. Like most of municipalities in the USA it has a Building and Zoning department. So I'm going to guess, that you don't actually work for the township.

@William2159 I am glad I don't live in Dolton. Grass limited to 8 inches high, No more than 3 dogs or cats per household, no Airbnbs.

Posting on a group for hosts and guests isn't going to help you achieve your objectives @William2159 

just contact the relevant team who deals with STR licensing at your local government and share links to the listing if you're sure
