@Jason1704 The guest must be confused. In order to complete the booking process, the guest has to authorize the charge to their payment method. No payment, no booking.
Hosts have zero input on the payment process. The guest books, pays in full or half up front (depending on what is available to them) and you get your money the day after they check in. Hosts don't typically have to guide the guest through the process, so be careful. It could be totally fine, but the only time I have had any interaction with a guest about their payment was when something was wrong with it....
