Over the past year, I found myself constantly juggling guest messages across Airbnb, WhatsApp, and my PMS(for all other channels) - often at the worst possible times. To save my sanity, I built a small side project to help manage it all.
It’s now grown into a smart AI system that:
Replies instantly on my behalf (even via WhatsApp),
Pulls guest data directly from Hostaway or Guesty,
Handles the essentials like check-in instructions, review nudges, and house rules,
Sounds natural and respectful, with the right context. not robotic,
And knows when to escalate things back to me (like unusual questions, critical problems, or VIP guests).
After testing it on my own listings, my average response time dropped from 17 minutes to 1 minute, and I got several hours of my week back - without compromising on guest satisfaction. In fact, my communication rating even improved.

If an assistant could completely handle guest messaging for you, what would make it a dream come true - and what would make it a dealbreaker?
What kind of messages do you wish you never had to answer again - but still want handled perfectly?
When it comes to using automation or AI with guests, what’s the one thing you absolutely need to feel confident it won’t mess up?
Would you feel comfortable letting AI speak to guests as you - if it followed your tone and house rules? Why or why not?
I’m hoping this project can grow into something that truly supports other hosts - combining helpful AI with real human care. With the right feedback (and maybe the right people alongside), it could even turn into a proper business that makes hosting easier for all of us. like it did to me.
