I'll be hosting song just for the first time and am a bit nervous of what can become when you do long term hosting, has any one on the forum did long term rental,?

Do any of you here don't long term rental any advice of what to look for? Or any advice you can give me before I accept the booking? 

I have hear of so many issues with long term rental. 

I would appreciate some advice if you have any. Thanks in advance for giving my question attention.

My first question is why long tern?  I do mostly employment related it brentals.  It varies but I think my longest was 6 months
