I’m a new user- any constructive and gentle feedback on my listing?

Hi everyone,

I’m a new host and recently listed my property, Ocean Echo Weligama, Sri Lanka. I’m really excited to start welcoming guests and want to make sure I’m doing everything right from the beginning.

I would love your honest, constructive, and gentle feedback on my listing,from the photos and description to pricing and amenities. Any tips or advice on how to improve visibility, attract more bookings, or provide a better guest experience would be extremely helpful.

I’m eager to learn from experienced hosts and grow my listing in the best way possible. Thank you so much in advance for your time and guidance!

I think you have 5 bedrooms and you want them each to be bookable separately?

If so, you'll have to make at least 5 different listings (one for each bedroom).

You could also group one or more rooms together if you want guests to be able to book them in combination (but then you'll have to link the calendars correctly, so that when a combination listing gets booked, the individual bedroom listing is blocked from being booked).

If you want to look for more information online, ask how to set up parent and child listings on Airbnb - that's what they often call a listing that can be booked separately (child listing) or as a whole (parent listing).

When you create the listings, it may be good to make the main image of each one a photo of that particular space itself (instead of a logo) as it will likely attract more clicks that way. Hope it helps!
