We recently received an email from the City of San Diego saying that they were raising TOT from 10.5% to between 11.75-13.75% depending on which zone you live in. Since Airbnb collects our TOT automatically I have been trying to get a hold of someone at Airbnb to double check that they are updating the collection percentage as of May 1st 2025. I have been getting the run-around and the Tax Page still shows that 10.5% tax rate. Has anyone had any contact with Airbnb regarding this issue?
