Insurance for just a month

Hello! We are first time hosts looking to Airbnb our home for a month or so. Since our home was built in the 1950’s, the plumbing has been redone but the wiring has not, and it’s proving to be difficult to find STR insurance because of this. Has anyone had similar problems or have any advice for me? Thank you!

Doubtful you can get any insurer to write a short term rental policy due to the old wiring (knob and tube?).  Having this old wiring is dangerous if planning on hosting guests who do not understand not overloading your electrical; especially if you still have the original circuit breaker panel.

There are some per booking insurance policies, but most want to know the condition of the property and would most likely also deny coverage.
