Intermediate bank commissions

Hi all,

I do not get full payments on my bank account even though Airbnb sends the exact amount of money for the booking. 
When looking into the matter I see that there is an intermediate bank that takes around 10$ per transfer. 
It seems a lot to me. Does it happen to you? How could I avoid that?

@Mariam260 I believe you can specify a minimum amount to transfer so that the $10 is lower as a percentage of your revenues and is only applied every XX stays.

I can’t say that it’s crystal clear for me but I can try to look into payout conditions if I can amend a transfer amount.

@Mariam260  Is  it possible that you have made a 'refund ' and it is being garnered ? I noticed some time ago that someone here made a refund for a booking three months ahead , which was cancelled. As he had not received any money at that stage then he 'owed' the amount to Airbnb. Small amounts were taken from his payouts in the meantime until the time of the guests arrival when the whole amount was paid to the host. Messge being 'do not refund ' something you do not have and remind the guest that refunds for cancellations come from Airbnb , not the host.....H

I didn’t refund neither had to refund. It is really a bank commission for a transfer from UK to my country I guess.

It would help to know if other hosts from my country are paying the same to intermediate banks…

Hi Bhumika,

Thanks for your consideration. I fixed a minimum transfer amount and  it seems to keep around 10$ for the transfers. So it might be a solution until I figure out something else (another payment method).
