KYC account on hold

Hi, my account payouts have been onhold for the past month due to verification from the KYC team. Does anyone know how long this process takes? Surely the must have a set timeline to complete this process in?

Hi Sarah,

 

I am in the exact same boat as yourself. Its been a month and still my funds are frozen due to KYC.

 

I have submitted everything they have requested on the same day, and then have to wait a couple of days before receiving the next request.

 

Finally today I was told that all the info has been gathered, but they will continue the review process with me and will revert back once done !!

 

Absolutely shocking and inhumane to do this with no time limits provided - let alone the cash flow burden it places on the host.

Hi Sarah,

 

I am also in the same boat. It is really frustrating and the communication from Airbnb has been very poor in my opinion. 

 

We have not received any payouts since the start of October and it has severely affected our cash flow. Moreover, I have been stuck in a loop where I upload documents and then do not get any response from airbnb. It is really frustrating and feels exploitative given the effort we put into our service for guests.

 

I hope airbnb can address the issue with speeding up the KYC compliance process.
