Legal questions about listing in spain

Legal questions about listing in spain

I own an apartment in Torrent, Valencia. I live in this apt at the moment, it has 3 bedrooms and I want to list only *one* bedroom on Airbnb.

It's on the first floor. I want to know if I have to take permission from government to post it on Airbnb, and if I do, can you help me with steps? I've asked around and some say that I don't need permission if I profit less than 1000 a month from it, some say I can't if other apts on the same floor and around me are touristic aswell, some say I need to bring in architect to evaluate some stuff in my house, I messaged architect and for it he asked 1000eur. Any help will be appreciated!

Very good questions!

An appropriate start would be to your city government office with these questions. They can give you local regulations and advise on any that are regional or national. You should ask your insurance agent what you will need, as well as your tax preparer. You need all the facts, not opinions and guesses. This is a business, and all these answers are available from the professionals. They will be happy to assist, no worries!

Hello @Lela113,  welcome to the Airbnb Community Center 😊

Since you posted a while ago, I wanted to check if you have read Kitty and Creek's comments. Another idea could be to post in the Spanish Community Center, where many Hosts from Spain can offer their advice.
