I'm looking into buying a property in York specifically to airbnb. I'm a first time buyer so new to all of it, I'm looking to airbnb due to the cost of buying in London where I live. Are there any resources for calculating occupancy in certain areas? Cities etc, I'm wanting to understand what I can expect to make and get a realistic sense of cost and ROI. Also rules around how much I can air BnB it? I'm not planning to ever live in the property. Also anything else I need to be taking into account, costs, how long I can expect it to take to build up a good rating and how being new will affect my ability to rent it without an air BnB score etc. Also any advise or costs on outsourcing management and cleaning of the property?
