Hello, I am Violeta. I own a condo in Mexico. It's under a corporation name. I also have a Mexican residency. I opened an account on airbnb, and posted my condo as a company not under my name.
The problem here is that Airbnb wants to take the taxes from Mexico and United States. I have been back and forth with them for about 2 months and they can't figure it out why the system continue asking for the United States form since the property is in Mexico. Why explain to them all the taxes has to go to the Mexican government.
My company has a RFC and I gave it to them but I doesn't work.
I have talked with too many agents in Airbnb already. Can you. please give any idea what I have to do in this situation to fix it?
Why Airbnb wants to take decelerate my taxes in United States?
My email address is **
I would appreciate it, thanks!

Hello @Vp-Rentals0,
Thank you so much for reaching out to our host community for advice! 😊
I’ve reached out to @Karen3152, one of our wonderful hosts from the USA currently hosting in Mexico, to see if she can lend a hand with your question.
In the meantime, I’m sharing this guide with you—hopefully, you’ll find it helpful 👉 US Citizen with Property in Mexico, Payout Methods.

I have some friends who own property under a Mexican Corp. It has been nothing but a headache. They converted it to a fideicomso and are much happier. If you convert to fideicomiso, you will need an RFC under your name. Beyond that, I can’t provide any other advice because I don’t have personal experience with a Mexican Corporation.
Thanks for the response. What is the tax form we have to fill out since our apartment is in Mexico under a corporation name and we live in United States?
Do we have to declare taxes to Mexican government and the IRS at the same time?
Because Airbnb sent us the form W-8BEN-E, beside our document in Mexico.
Please let me know I would appreciate your answer
