New Airbnb Owner

Hello everyone, I am looking at becoming a new Airbnb business owner and am looking for some help getting started. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I reside in Joplin Missouri and looking to get started as soon as possible. Please reply with some of your best and helpful advice. Thank you very much!

Could you be more specific on what type of advice you are looking for?

There are already hundreds, or maybe even thousands, of threads on this forum giving advice on setting up an airbnb. Maybe do a browse and see what you can learn...

More of where to start and how some people get their first property with out having money for it and needing to take loans out. How much would be a good estimate on how much I would need to start

I'm really not sure how you would get your first property without either money or loans. That's not how the property business works!

Perhaps you are talking more about co-hosting, i.e. being hired by a property owner to host Airbnb stays for them for a fee? If that is the case, well you would need to have some experience to compete with other co-hosts in your area.

Contrary to many people's perceptions, Airbnb is not a get rich quick scheme. It's a lot of work and it's also a really unstable market right now.

The cheapest way to start doing STR is to rent a room in your home which you own or ask your landlord  if you can sublet 

there are lots of guides and tutorials on Airbnb on what's involved . 

start by doing your market research on any STR restrictions in your area then you can research and put together a business plan and budget  to see if a short term rental budget is for you @Nickhai0
