New Fee Structure

This is such a shady business move!! 
This practice makes hosts appear to have higher nightly rates or We have to accept 15.5% Less!

I do not want to be Airbnb’s fee collector.

It is not a transparent business practice for either the host or the guest. 
Fees should be clearly itemized For all to see! 
I have called Airbnb and had this issue escalated! I am awaiting their response.

@Laura8788 Sadly for you if you do not want to collect fees for others then you will need to shut down or create your own website. Airbnb is aligning it's model to that of other platforms so there is nowhere to go.

I assume you are happy to continue collecting fees for your cleaner, power company, amenity suppliers etc. I wonder why you consider Airbnb, as a supplier of guests, to be any different to these.

Hi @Laura8788 I think you may be under the impression that Airbnb service fees are increasing. 

It's simply changing the fee structure from 3% host and 12% to 16% guest, to a straight all-in-one 15.5% fee.
