New Tax ID requirement with multiple properties with different tax IDs
Has anyone figured out how to assign a tax ID to a specific property listing rather than the overlying AirBnb account? I manage multiple rental properties, and each property has its own tax ID. I called Airbnb support and the person had no idea and just closed the support ticket.
Surely property managers out there have the same issue for their clients. Or have you always set up individual accounts per property?

@Wytmar0 I think the professional management companies take all the income against their tax id and then issue their own tax forms to the owners based on the revenues they disburse. Have you talked to your accountant?

That makes sense. Our properties are in different LLCs and we manage them ourselves. So it’s not a tax question for the accountant.
I wonder if there’s a way to associate different tax IDs with the payout method since the payout for each property is unique?
Thanks very much for the reply.

@Wytmar0 @Mike-And-Jane0 Hi! Curious if you ever found an answer to this? I'm having the same dilemma and the Airbnb support agents have been perplexed by my question.

I just called about the same thing. They told me they would call me back within an hour. Hopefully they have an answer!
