Hi, new host here, trying to fine tune my listing for the welcome messaging/arrival instructions prior to check in. How can I send an automated message to guests maybe 24-48 hours prior to arrival? Is this done by default by Airbnb? I don’t remember setting this up with the listing. Is there a message I can edit that will be sent out automatically? It would also include the temporary digital code for the keyless entry, so the message would need to be customized somewhat.
Generally speaking what is the recommended messaging process for arrival instructions? Or is it usually a manual process for each reservation?
Thank you
(I have a few questions so I will be posting separately in sequence 🙂
@Christopher64 There is no function for automated messages on the platform. You can however create 'saved' messages through your inbox. You can create any message template you like, and edit at any time. But you need to send them to guests manually.
Ok it's a manual process, thank you very much.
