I want to express how I feel about the Airbnb refund experience. I have never asked for a refund before but I'm really unhappy about the result and want to ask for compensation from Airbnb.
We have booked Airbnb for a month, it cost over £2000! What happened in Airbnb is that there is a water leaking problem in the property, dirty wall, and the floor under the washing machine has some cracks which feel unstable when washing. Stranger neighbours knock on the door at night complaining about water leakage. Difficult to cooperate with the host to find a right time for the plumber to come fix the problem.All of this problem wasn't our fault and we decided to ask for a partial refund of 1800 of remaining days (we lived there only 6days). What happened was terrible already but things keep getting worse. Airbnb resolved the issue without approval from my side! The refund request suddenly was resolved with only 720, plus I have moved out on that day. I tried to message the customer service but there was no reply, no help. So this is basically kicking us out on that day and forcing us to accept the unfair refund offer that I never accepted. This is very unreasonable and feels unfair. I told them this problem is not resolved, but no one responded.
I'm desperate, can anyone please help?
