I guess that I can say goodbye to AIR BNB. The city where my house is located passed an ordinance that prohibits short term rentals for non owner occupied units, requires a business license and other restrictions. This makes it impossible to generate income from my vacation home in Colorado. My HOA also has passed rules prohibiting such activity. Is AIRBNB going to lose some of its best markets?
@Chris15924 Yes I guess they are. Do the ordinances not include grandfather clauses that allow you to continue hosting and does the HOA have the right to impose restrictions on people after they have moved into the HOA?
