Hello how do you become a Co-host with little to no experience?

When we started, we went for whites... White bedding sheets, white towels, face clothes & on & on just like you find in hotels.
After my first turn over; I had to discard 3 face clothes, 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel & 1 pillow case due to various stains...
We have since introduced grey face clothes, beige bath towels in tbe bathroom & hand towels & blue bath towels for the hot tub. Sheets are still white though.
Hindsight 20-20... You can't manage every little "what if" but you can mitigate most!
So far, my guests have been very good. No damage to the premises & excellent reviews from them so a few towels put aside is not that big a deal.
Cheers from Nova Scotia
Hi @Danielle1765 😊,
Thank you so much for sharing this here, it's really interesting!
When did you start hosting?
Are you doing the cleaning yourself?

Hello @Elisa ,
We started Airbnb last June. We got lucky with our first guests, they were workers from Newfoundland and stayed for 25 nights....
Yes, I do the turn over myself. It is a chore for sure, specially when you have guests lingering at & past checkout time (11am) & new guests due in at 3pm but so far I've been able to handle it.
Cheers - D

@Elisa Could you add the word linens to the title of this post? The current title appears to be racist.
Hi @Lorna170 😊,
Thank you so much for raising this point, it's a great one!
I've just updated the title as you suggested.
Wishing you a great start to the week.
