Paused payouts

Paused payouts

I have been an Airbnb super host in the Cayman Islands for 7 years and I currently manage multiple listings on Airbnb. We have been pleased with the business we receive through Airbnb.

My payouts were paused on Feb 20th 2023. I received a message from airbnb support team saying my account is under review due to the new tax laws and I needed to supply more information. Which I did. Every time I supply the information requested they come back to me and say I haven’t supplied it and that I need to resubmit. I have done this over and over 7-8 times and I have called ever single day since Feb 20 and spent at least a hour on the phone each time. I have spoken to customer service and supervisors. Every call (everyday since Feb 20th) I am told the same thing.. that my case is being handled by a “specialist” or a “different” team and said they cannot call them. They can just escalate the issue and that the specialist team will contact me “soon” means my payouts are still paused since Feb 20th and no one is giving me any details as to why my payouts are still paused. Our comapny and all our properties are based on the Cayman Islands a tax free jurisdiction and we are still being reviewed for tax over 2 months now?

I have uploaded my ID my company business license and the IDs of the company owners. I keep getting asked to resubmit every week.

As a result, Over $90,000 of payouts are paused. We are unable to continue to take bookings which is being allowed by airbnb but we are t getting paid out so how are we to keep the lights on in the properties?

Can anyone please help and advise on what else I can do so I’m at the end of my rope here.

Thanks!
