Problems with calendar

Here is currently unable to add notes on the calendar or block dates directly from the calendar. This has become a serious issue and is greatly affecting our day-to-day operations.

The problem has persisted for nearly a week now. At this point, it is no longer just impacting calendar management—it is creating a significant risk of double bookings and overbookings, which could negatively affect both hosts and guests.

We would greatly appreciate any updates on when this issue will be resolved. Need helps!

I have no problem to block dates on the calendar (i use the website)

 

The feature to add notes is not available anymore (removed in the new release)

The calendar is confusing now: When I block dates from the multi-listing calendar view, the blocked dates do not appear after refreshing the page. Here can only see the blocked status after opening the individual listing's calendar, which makes management much more difficult.

Do u know why was the notes feature removed? Is there any way to restore the calendar notes function? Many thanks.

Was Airbnb able to offer any advice on this when you called them @Scott-Hoo0 

 

I can add notes to my calendars . 

Yes, I contacted Airbnb support team. They told me the issue was caused by a recent Airbnb update and that their team is already aware of it and working on a fix.

The support team worker was friendly and acknowledged how important the notes feature and calendar tools are for hosts managing multiple listings. She assured me that the functionality would be restored soon and even provided me with a $25 discount...

However it has now been 2 days since I reported the statue, and the calendar problems are still present on my account.

Many hosts have posted note-related complaints, and I've been trying to figure out what's wrong.

Like @Helen3 , I can add notes to blocked dates. I can also add notes to bookings. It's just unbooked, unblocked dates that I wouldn't able to add notes to if required.

 

Some hosts have reported that they used to see the notes in the multi-calendar when hovering over the dates - from what I can tell, that's the main issue? Not sure.

 

I know what you mean by the blocked nights not showing up. I just tested it again. I block a night in the individual calendar and it doesn't show right away when I switch to the multi-calendar. Then I go back to the individual calendar and it's not showing as blocked there anymore either, but when I click the date it does still have the block on it ... I think it's only a problem with how it displays on the calendar, but it's very confusing.

Yes, you said statue was exactly the problem I'm confusing!

Many Airbnb hosts my friends in Tokyo have noticed the same problem. Until these calendar issues are fixed, we have no choice but to manually check each listing repeatedly and keep our own records via google app tool.

We're concerned that a display error or a missed update could lead to a booking mistake or even an overbooking situation. Managing multiple listings is already time-consuming, and the current calendar behavior makes it much more difficult and stressful.
