Last week I received a booking at short notice. It had been confirmed, but without my knowledge, and it was given a 20%discount also without my know,edge. I don’t do reduc3d prices! I lost mone6 on the deal, and I am also worried that Airbnb seem to be running my business without consulting me. So far I have spent time on the phone, but not got anywhere. What do I do?

@Stephanie2326 unless you said no during the set up of your listing then you will have offered the first 3 people to book a 20% discount.

I am sorry, but both "issues" are the result of a lack of attention when creating the listing. As a superhost with 24 reviews you are an experienced host, but you created a listing with "Instant Book" active and you offer 20% promotional discount to first 3 bookings without noticing it ?

BTW both can be switched off.

Always test a new listing or when making major changes, to check if the listing performs as expected.
