This is a long shot but nevertheless I thought I would let the AirBNB community know: Owing to changed circumstances we are having to sell our property. We have been running a barn as an AirBNB for about 2 years and last year got two shepherds huts up an running (with the space to add at least 4 more in two paddocks. Our home is a 3-4 bed grade 2 listed property in the Cotswolds and has land totalling just over 4 acres - hence the barn and huts. In addition i have run my business from a further outbuilding. Asking price is £1.5m. I expect the AirBNB operation to generate on the current configuration c.£30k pa (c.40% occupancy). If you are genuinely interested then let me know.
@Philip2749 I shall be a bit naughty and also say that our place will come on the market either in 3 years time or, if someone makes a sensible offer, now.
We can't run a place this size (6 bedroom house + 3 holiday lets totalling 6 bedrooms) and travel for 6 months of the year which is our plan in a few years time.
LOL. Not naughty at all. Strikes me that AirBNB is missing a trick as I expect there are others who either want to sell or buy into AirBNB. The AirBNB side contributes to our income and means we can live in a home far superior to one we might otherwise have considered.
