Re-Instate Superhost Status??

Hello! I’ve had a heck of a time getting my superhost status back after a one star review from a host hustling me for a refund a week after his stay, for things that were unreasonable. I’ve had this experience more and more over the recent years. Guests stay, make a claim and if you don’t pay them what they ask for, they give you a bad review, thereby effecting your rating and superhost status. I’ve seen my rating read as 4.86 on my profile, be told it’s actually 4.7 and then today was told it’s now 4.6 despite the 5 star reviews I’ve continued to receive. I’ve been told they review your status quarterly but nothing has changed except for my experience with my bookings, income and customer service experience. I have noted a marked difference in air bnb’s backing of me as a teammate and now feel stuck as a cog in a glitched system that favors guest experience and is saturated in supply. I’m wondering if others have had this experience. I just spent an hour on the phone with a kind man in the middle of his night, who only could suggest I post here to see if I can find support and answers. Does anyone have any ideas or experience?

In the first quarter of 2024, I had a lot of direct bookings and a few bookings from another platform. No bookings from Airbnb. Therefore, I didn't receive enough bookings or reviews to qualify for superhost and subsequently, it was taken away.

Following that, almost all of my bookings were from Airbnb, all leaving 5 star reviews. But superhost status was never restored.

I was of the impression that they were replacing superhost with "guest favorite", which I've had since they started that, and held that badge even without superhost status. 

So, I didn't worry about it, and assumed superhost was gone forever. It didn't seem to have any impact on bookings. 

Then out of nowhere, I was given superhost status again this year. In July, I believe. 

Why now? I don't know. Airbnb works in mysterious ways 🤔

I wouldn't worry about it.
