Refer a new host

Does the "refer a new host actually pay out"? Seems a bit too good to be true.

@Claudette79 It didn't pay out for me even though the brand new host is operating a brand new property. I don't know what went wrong.

There are many caveats such as the property AND the new host must never have operated Airbnbs before and I think they cannot be related to the referring host.

It worked! I helped my friend by sharing the host link. Then she had her first guest pay "over $100. USD.

Then after messages saying it was being reviewed, then approved. I actually received $880 CAD in my PayPal account!!! 

And, yes, my friend got her $58.

I shared my bonus with my friend, as she had many expenses to start her Airbnb (just a little suite in her home)

Would you be able to share what exact process did you follow? (like, from where and how did you share the referral link? What did you ensure while referring your friend to make sure they too follow the process of registering on Airbnb? )

I have noticed many of our members facing unsuccessful referrals due to some or the other reason either due to referral links or meeting requirements for a successful referral.

Your experience can definitely help others know how they can lead to a successful referral!
