Riverside county short term rental registration

I have a property in Idyllwild/Pine Cove CA and am filling out the Riverside County short term rental registration per ordinance 927. They're asking to attach a copy of the transient occupancy registration certificate. The link to obtain the certificate is broken but a quick web search leads me to the Riverside County tax collector's site where they want us to apply for a transient occupancy tax registration. This implies that I will need to pay occupancy taxes. However, Airbnb already collects and pays this on the hosts behalf for my location. I am wondering if I need to register with the country tax collector. What are other hosts in this area who can help me navigate through this.
