Self remitted taxes; How does Airbnb send what they collect?

My Airbnb is in Norman, where they charge an 8% transient guest tax. Since Airbnb doesn’t collect  or distribute that tax, I was told that I would have to do myself. So I did, and I can see they collected the required state, county and city taxes. How do they send it to me so I can remit them appropriately? It wasn’t in the payout, so what is the mechanism? Thank you.

Airbnb remits the taxes directly to each taxing authority in a lump sum for all Hosts in your area. They will not pay the Host.

Hope you are having a great week. I found a link from the Help Center that talks about how taxes works for hosts. This might give you more information about taxes: How taxes work for hosts

Also, you got an answer from Joan that might give you more details about taxes. Let us know if you need more help.
