I have asked my guest to send me money for the damage deposit. He tells me that he can't see the request. I cannot resend it, becaue it has not been answered. Any ideas how I can tell the guest where he sees the request? The Airbnb support wasn't helpful...
@Kerstin252 The Resolutions protocol often doesn't work on the mobile app. You may advise your guest to log into his account on a computer, or to switch to the Desktop Version of Airbnb on his phone's browser.
@Kerstin252 It's actually even weirder than that. They used to allow hosts to specify a "deposit" amount in their listing, but at no point in their history did they ever actually charge that amount to guests. It was a pure fiction. This year, they finally clarified that in the ToS. It took years of shaming them about the deception to achieve that.
