Should Guests Sign Liability Waivers?

Should Guests Sign Liability Waivers?

Hello,

I just started an Airbnb about 6 months ago. We have a guest house right next to our personal home on a lake. We have a private dock fishing poles and kayaks for guests personal use. We do have liability insurance for the property. However as an additional protection I thought about having guests sign liability waivers prior to their stay as an additional layer of protection.

Wondering if anyone else does this and if so what sorts of electronic services do they use?

@Crystal-Faith0  Talk to your property insurance company about the validity of waivers and if they have an approved form that you could use. Airbnb does not support posting and signing waivers, so you will have to write in your description that waivers will be provided via email and must be signed prior to guest arrival.

I use SignNow to send rental agreements and other documents to guests.  I believe that Adobe Acrobat also has signature capability.
