Hello AirBnB Community.
I am on the Essential Worker's list of approved workers and I need to stay in a Tier 3 area next week for work.
The Government guidelines state:
accommodation such as hotels, B&Bs, campsites, and guest houses must close. There are several exemptions, such as for those who use these venues as their main residence, and those requiring the venues where it is reasonably necessary for work or education and training
So, I wondered what this meant for AirBnB and similar sites? Can I stay in an AirBnB if I am from Tier 2 and the property is in Tier 3? Especially if it's a shared household?
Many thanks in advance,
Aaron
@Aaron726 I believe you can stay in a whole property but probably not a shared home. The legislation has neither been published or passed yet so its all guesses at present I am afraid.
Hello @Aaron726
I am in a Tier 3 area - you can stay in a shared home or whole listing if you are coming for work, education, moving home etc.
