As a property manager, there are situations where it would be advantageous for both our guests and us to change the listing for a reservation. Unfortunately, due to the different property owners and payout arrangements, I am unable to facilitate such changes, even though I am the primary host for both listings. The only available recourse is to cancel the initial reservation and rebook, which does, regrettably, incur penalties. It would greatly enhance the guest experience and property management if we had the capability to seamlessly process reservation change requests within the system.
