Subletting apartment in Nashville, TN

Hello, I am new to this community and I'm considering renting an apartment in Nashville, TN to sublet as an airbnb. I live in Indiana, so it would be an out of state ordeal. Just looking for anyone who has done this in the Nashville area and might be willing to share their experience. Not just regarding out of state tax issues, although I am curious about that as well.

1. An accountant is best placed to advise you on taxes

2. Presumably you have a landlord who has agreed in your lease that you can sub let

3. what plans do you have a in place to cover all the costs associated with renting out the listing if you don't get the bookings you expect

@Emily1819 Have you found a landlord willing to explicitly state in your lease that short term rental is allowed?

I'm here wondering the same thing. I run 3 airbnb's in Chicago and Indiana but was highly interested in doing this in Nashville. We love to visit the city and have found a location that is willing to allow airbnb in the building. I was curious if its profitable after the high cost of rent.
