Tax and no tax

I live in California, when I checked my room that I posted on Airbnb I found, some rooms no tax, some rooms have tax, even the rooms had same price after charges tax totally will show different prices. Customers  would like to pick up the cheaper one. Who knows the answer?

@莹0    AirBnB has agreements with various municipalities and will automatically add taxes to a listing within that municipality.  Other locations may not have a tax agreement with AirBnB and then it is up to the host to add the taxes to the listing.

If you are in a location where the host is supposed to add the required taxes to the listing, you will find that some hosts do not add taxes because they don’t understand that they have to or they don’t report their earnings.  Some hosts will add state tax, but forget to add (or don’t know the percentage due) for county or city tax.

That is how you get different prices and competing for guests is harder.
