Taxes

Taxes

My listing is in Jasper, Alberta Canada.

I am registered for the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and am required to also collect the 6% Alberta Tax on AirBNB Income.

I was able to download a month to date report which shows taxes withheld and submitted by AirBNB. I'm assuming that this is the Alberta Occupancy Tax?

Is the GST being collected?

Where do I find the breakdown of all this information to check that it is correct?

I just started operating again after a two year hiatus due to theJasper Wildfire, so I am not up to date onhow all this works.

Thank you for your help!

I simulated a booking for 1 night on your listing.

It charges me taxes: as shown:
