Has anyone worked with the Temporary Housing Directory (THD)? I received an inquiry about renting my house for clients of THD but Air BnB flagged it as a possible issue. I am wondering if this is a legitimate business/service or someone running a scam. Thanks!!
For those that do not have a blessed clue (like me) what THD is: https://www.temporaryhousingdirectory.com/
@Eric6394 Half my mind tells me 'What a scam', the other half - "How creative'.
Airbnb has a business platform for companies to use called Airbnb for Work. https://www.airbnb.com/work/signup/enter_company_info
Look it up. Totally legit. Works just the same. You still get the guests profile and the company is just in the background with the payment info.
Third Party bookings are NOT allowed on Airbnb, although some do get booked. This is Airbnb's response to third party bookings:
"Because transparency and trust are crucial to ensure a secure Airbnb experience, it is not possible to book on behalf of someone else. Third-party bookings are in violation of our Terms of Service, and as a result we cannot ensure protection under said Terms of Service, cancellation and refund policies, and other safeguards. "

It's real and primarily used for homeowners that suffered a loss on their home such as a fire or water leak.
Nice
@Eric6394 My insurance company Guard hired them
to provide temporary housing while my house was being restored after a water damage. Had a good experience working with them. Thinking about giving them my property for corporate housing or temporary placement. Would love to know if anyone did that already?
