The City Council will hold a hearing tomorrow, March 18th, to discuss the 2023 report on the city’s Homesharing Ordinance. This report makes recommendations that could affect your ability to host, including a recommendation to require in-person property inspections before hosts can receive a permit. 

What: Hearing on recommended changes to the homesharing ordinance

When: Tuesday, March 18-10AM PST

Where City Hall: 200 North Main St., Los Angeles, CA 90012

The current process already resulted in lengthy delays and the City likely won't be able to complete inspections in time, making it more difficult for compliant holders to get their permits renewed. The City wants to penalize bad actors but passing an amendment like this will penalize responsible hosts.
