To drop the price or not drop the price - that is the question.
With cancellations flooding in and few new bookings I am interested to know what peoples views are on price slashing.
My view:
As a host I actually think dropping the price is absolutely the WRONG thing to do. People are just not travelling - reducing the price will not overcome a closed border or a Trump travel ban. Far better to take what little business there is at a reasonable price - some people will still travel especially when they get bored with the media hype and realise that for many many lucky people Corona Virus is just a bad cold/dose of flu.

@Mike-And-Jane0 "some people will still travel especially when they get bored with the media hype and realise that for many many lucky people Corona Virus is just a bad cold/dose of flu."
It was exactly those lucky, healthy, young persons who came back from skiing trips from Northen Italy and Astria 2-3 weeks ago that brought the virus along (Denmark). Now just a couple of weeks later the country is shot down and everybody is asked to isolate themselves as much as possible to avoid spreading the virus. I may have the virus - I don't know. Hopefully people will understand why it is so important to avoid travelling/spreading the virus.
Countries around the world are trying to "flatten the curve".

China went from 0-2663 deaths in 35 days. Italy went from 0 to almost 2000 in less than 20 days. Spain went from 0 to about 300 in a week. This isn't "media hype". These are actual human deaths.

So, Trump is giving himself a 10 for his response to the pandemic, is Boris aiming for an 11? There have been about as many deaths in G.B as there have in the the U.S.and that's in a smaller population. Schools aren't closing, people are being asked not to go to pubs & theaters etc but everything is staying open & anyone wanting to be tested must go into a hospital. Is the national health plan going to be: Seniors, stiff upper lip & no whinging, you are a drag on the economy and it's the (shrinking ) ice floes for you? The Monty Python approach to government is not as funny in real life. We are now sheltering in place & it's not going to be easy, but what else can one do?
