I don't know why my Airbnb platform unlike booking that is more active any advice please
If Booking.com is performing better than Airbnb, I’d compare the two channels side by side before changing prices.
A few things to check:
1. Is the total guest price the same on both platforms?
2. Are the photos, title and description equally strong?
3. Are cancellation rules or minimum stay different?
4. Are there reviews or ratings on one platform that may influence trust?
5. Are Airbnb guests seeing extra fees that Booking.com guests do not see?
I’d also look at booked nights versus available nights for the next 30/60/90 days. If Airbnb has visibility but no bookings, pricing or conversion may be the issue. If there are few views or inquiries, the issue may be listing visibility, photos, ranking or reviews.
I would avoid lowering all prices at once. Better to test specific dates or gaps first and see whether that changes booking behavior.
Airbnb and Booking.com perform differently. If your Airbnb is getting fewer bookings, it could be related to pricing, search ranking, listing optimization, or competition in your market.
I'd be happy to review your listing and share a few recommendations to help improve its visibility and bookings.
This impressive to hear and I will appreciate for your guidance
@Elvis-Raphael0 @Cintia188 Is not a host.
s/he has just joined this community to try and pick up work from hosts when she doesn't have the expertise/experience to offer airbnb marketing services .
I understand your concern, but I'd like to clarify that while I am not a property owner/host myself, I have been working in Airbnb and short-term rental management for a long time as a co-host and property management professional.
I have assisted multiple property owners with listing setup, optimization, guest communication, pricing management, channel management, and day-to-day operations. My role is to help hosts improve their performance and manage their properties effectively.
Not every Airbnb professional needs to be a host. Many of us work behind the scenes supporting hosts and managing properties on their behalf. I provide my services based on my experience and results, and I'm always happy to let my work speak for itself.
Thank you.
@Elvis-Raphael0 You really need to listen to your guests. You have more than one person complaining about the location on the map and the actual location of your unit. Sounds like you have a really nice place with a lot of potential.
