Vancouver - Airbnb suite for long term rentals

Hello Vancouver, Canada people. The city of Vancouver has changed the long term minimum reservations days from 30 days to an absurd 90 days. Now, all my reservations were cancelled and I have no income. I refuse to rent out my 2 bedroom suite to local tenants as I don’t want one year leases, etc. 

can anyone tell me what they are doing please? Is it even worth 90 days or longer ? Tourists don’t spend three months in Vancouver, so, as a Airbnb 5 star host for 6 years, I am completely disgusted by the decision of Vancouver council to drastically change the long term rental rules.

@Mark5921  Ugh I am so sorry to hear this.  I don't have any advice for you other than hang in there and hoepfully you can somehow make some lemonade out of lemons.

Ok thanks for this Elisa. And I would very much appreciate any Vancouver hosts to let me know what options we have, what have you done since 30 day or longer Airbnb rentals are no longer allowed. And is anyone actually able to rent out Airbnb suites for 90 days or longer?
